Travel and Travel Management is what I know best. I’ve been 29 years in the industry and have spent 16 of those in travel management.
The international aspect of this job has always held appeal for me and it’s given me the opportunity to experience so many different markets, business environments and unique situations across the globe. Travel management has allowed me to work alongside companies ranging from mining to medical and a lot in between. It’s also a dynamic industry where things can happen in an instant and we have to be ready to respond, often incredibly quickly.
My role is very much to ensure the team here is working collectively to achieve the best results for our clients and shareholders, but in an environment that is rewarding for the people that make up our business.
I strongly believe that travel management is most effective when you don’t make a science out of it. It should simply be an enabling mechanism for clients to get their job done. The complexity is ours to deal with behind the scenes, not put back in the lap of our clients.
I just love Travel. My first job was to book hotels and resorts via telex, lucky for me technology was on my side and facsimile soon arrived !! However from this first job came a passion for travel that has spanned over 25 years across various areas such as Tour Operators, Airlines and Retail Travel.

My role is to ensure that our team has access to some of the best valued product around the globe. Concierge Traveller is a member of the exclusive global network Virtuoso. This membership gives our client special amenities and room up-grades in hotels around the world.
Chief Financial Officer
I joined Concierge Travel Group in May 2015. Prior to that, I have been involved in senior financial management roles within the recruitment, consulting and public practice sectors.
The travel industry has always fascinated me with the latest in leisure hotspots down to the more technical aspects including the constant advancements in technology and meeting the travel requirements of our suppliers and clients. Being able to help our clients whether it be a personal holiday or travelling for work is truly satisfying.
My role is to ensure that financially everything makes sense, not just for the shareholders but also for our employees and clients. I manage the finance team to ensure the finance systems and processes are running efficiently and seamless so we can continually service the needs of our clients. Financial accuracy and timeliness is a key part of my role as this enables us to empower our employees and clients with the knowledge and insight on their travel spend.
I.T. Operations Manager
I've enjoyed 30 years working in the travel industry and I have been with Concierge since 2008. My career has been split between working for travel agencies and the travel technology firms that supply them.
I love making sense of the complexity this industry presents, and I enjoy the diversity it offers. I transitioned into IT project management and business analysis about 15 years ago when online booking tools really started to get traction. In fact I was part of the launch of the very first corporate online booking tool in Australia! I enjoy the progression of automation particularly within the connectivity and online space.
My role is about making sure every one of our systems are current and running optimally. I also facilitate the development and implementation of our travel management tools that support client reporting and analysis, through to online booking and itinerary apps. Ultimately all those things that either make the journey easier for the traveller, or the job of the travel manager more effective.
